Pray For Workers...
Our first days here in Miami have been a great blessing to us, and we feel like we have been raised up in your prayers. For that, we thank you so much, and thank God for raising up friends like you.
For those of you who have been praying for the Caribbean for a while, thank you so much! The amazing growth in several areas is tremendous, and the Holy Spirit is moving!
For those of you who have just begun to pray for the Caribbean Region (like us — who would have known such a beautiful area needed prayer right?), for all who pray, please pray for the workers to come! I was talking with missionary Curt Luthye last week and he said, “Dave, in all honesty I could use 131 volunteers for about three months straight starting right now.” Curt is the guy who does the www.caribnaz.org website and is the Work and Witness Coordinator here. He will be working closely with a really cute new Personnel Coordinator (Rosie!) to help get volunteer workers to places where they can serve.
Please continue to pray for the different countries of the Caribbean. I am trying to update the “Country of the Day” portion of the Kerribbean.com website, and Curt has a whole write-up on each country on the caribnaz site. But I would also invite you to be praying for workers, and perhaps considering even becoming one. We need teams of people, and we need individuals. We need video editing and we need construction and water development. We need coordinators and much, much more. We need prayer!
Thanks so much for reading our first newsletter! We thank God for friends like you, and Him for choosing each of us! |
