  Thank you for praying for us!

1. We were told that we would have our entry visas processed by now, but there has been a delay. Please pray that there will not be any delays in our September 11th departure date since the tickets are already purchased.
2. Please pray for safe travel, that nothing will get lost, and that our girls will do well on the long flights.
3. We were told there may be large customs fees for the technology equipment that my husband needs to take for the Bible College. Please pray for God's grace to help us get our luggage through with minimal extra charges.
4. Pray for great relationships with the PNG Nationals and with other missionaries.
5. Pray for us to find a good church home to attend in PNG!
6. Pray for Grace and Anna as they adjust to their new home and school.
7. Pray for our family to learn the language easily.
8. Pray for Rosie as she learns her new role at the hospital.
9. Pray for Dave as he sets up internet at the Bible College and as he begins teaching.


Thank you again for your prayers and your encouragement. In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he describes how God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. May the Holy Spirit help us all to imagine more and to ask more and give God more glory as He accomplishes through each of us much more than we thought possible!

May God richly bless your church and your ministry as we work together to build His Kingdom around the world!

Our hearts continue to be full of praise and gratitude to God for the amazing ways He shows up, and the wonderful things He allows us to experience in the center of His will. The churches that we have visited have been a great encouragement to us. Our prayer is that the amazing stories of God's work in our world has encouraged them as well.

OK, we are still in the United States. There was some mix up in the paperwork that has still not been completely described to us, but the rejection notice from the government there said "lack of educational qualifications." We have narrowed it down to a couple scenarios, dealing with notarizing things on the FRONT, notarizing Dave's stuff, sending all undergrad diploma and transcript stuff, and all notarized. Right now everyone is focused on the notary thing, so pray that is the problem and things should get smoothed out! What an interesting process!

God continues to show us that, regardless of how weak we are as vessels of Christ, He can use each of us. Through what He has given us to say over 10 people have raised their hands stating that they have made first-time professions of Faith, and more than five others have professed to a call into full time ministry. This is just since being back in the Northwest, so we know that God's delay is the Kingdom's gain. Please be in prayer that each of these people receive good discipleship! Some people regard delay as unfortunate. We cannot complain! God does not always show us why we are going through "unplanned" times. Sometimes He does, and what a great encouragement to know that you can move ahead in faith because He really does have the grand plan in mind!

We have a very crazy schedule coming up soon. If you notice, our deputation schedule will be taking us half way across the country! This is not all crazy, as we will get to see some great friends and then travel back with Dave's brother, Peter, a professor as Asbury College. Yet please be in prayer that the people will hear through us God's message of Holiness and calling.

Health is all great right now! Praise the Lord!

We have been able to hang out with missionaries back on deputation from PNG. The Bennetts have been so kind in giving us tips about what to ship and what is needed there. There are some BIG needs at the hospital. A new X-Ray machine is needed, as the old one cannot be moved from the old hospital to the new one without breaking! The hydroelectric dam is broken, so they have to rely on the PNG grid (very erratic). This actually jeopardizes all of the equipment on the campus. Then there are the regular needs as well. Then we have some great new pictures too! I need to start posting some of these on our site. Does anyone want to see them? Send me an email if you do! Send me an email if you do!

We have actual lessons for learning Tok Pisin now!

Rosie has completed 2 of the three big recertification tests she has needed to work on! Yay!! You could pray that she finishes her third, as the travel schedule is heating up a bit again.

Rosie's allergies have been particularly bad. It would be nice to get some relief there! Thanks for your prayers!

Pray for my boss, Principal Dr. Geneva Silvernail as she travels around the US through August. Pray that God will pour out His blessing upon her and the churches she is invited to.

Pray for my Field Strategy Coordinator, Capt. Rev. Harmon Schmelzenbach as he and his family drive all over the US in these next months. We get to meet him in two weeks!

Churches have now raised enough money for us to pay for an entire Master's degree scholarship for one of our faculty at MNBC. This will compliment the other one that was raised, and will go to really improve what MNBC faculty can do and offer. We are very excited about this! Thank you to so many who have generously given!
